On October 17, the 2024 "Belt and Road" Advanced Training Program for Energy and Power Talent, organized by Shanghai University of Electric Power, visited Jinko Technology. The delegation, led by Xiao Yong, Deputy Dean of the Continuing Education College (International Education College) of Shanghai University of Electric Power, consisted of senior executives from energy and power companies and experts from universities in countries including Australia, Brazil, Indonesia, Burkina Faso, Vietnam, and Thailand.

Jinko Technology's Vice President of Human Resources, Lin Ling, Vice President of Overseas Business Investment, Sun Yibo, General Manager of the Operation and Maintenance Company, Ma Song, Director of the President’s Office, Hu Juan, members of the international business team, and relevant personnel attended the meeting. They held in-depth discussions on topics such as Jinko Technology's progress in the "Belt and Road" initiative, the company's overseas business expansion, and global energy development trends.

The visiting participants of the advanced training program expressed strong interest in Jinko Technology’s global layout and the current status of its overseas business development. Relevant leaders provided a detailed introduction to Jinko Technology's progress in the Belt and Road initiative and answered questions raised by the attendees in depth. On-site, representatives from Jinko Technology's domestic business departments actively discussed the latest industry development trends in China and shared insights into the company’s outstanding photovoltaic power station projects with the participants.

On the same day, Jinko Technology representatives led the visiting trainees on a tour of the Jinko Center exhibition hall at Jinko Technology’s global headquarters. The visitors expressed that they now have a more comprehensive, intuitive, and in-depth understanding of Jinko Technology’s business and look forward to more opportunities for cooperation and exchange.

The carbon emissions of countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" account for approximately 61% of global carbon emissions, making their contribution to the global carbon reduction process extremely significant. China has already established a solid foundation for cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road in addressing climate change. Shanghai University of Electric Power’s "Belt and Road" Advanced Training Program for Energy and Power Talent

Shanghai University of Electric Power, as the chair institution of the Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization, permanent director of the ADEPT International Power Universities Alliance, and a founding member of both the Belt and Road Power Universities Alliance and the Belt and Road Power Industry-Academia-Research Alliance, has actively aligned with China’s Belt and Road Initiative. With its unique educational features, the university has established the "Belt and Road" Energy and Power International Talent Development Base. Since 2016, it has successfully held seven sessions of the "Belt and Road" Advanced Training Program for Energy and Power Talent.

The trainees of the program primarily include government officials, senior executives, power technology management experts, and scholars from universities in the energy and power sectors along the Belt and Road. Through the training program, participants learn about China’s energy and power development status, engage in dialogues and exchanges with peers from other countries, and foster international cooperation. As a practical initiative to implement the Belt and Road Initiative, this project has gradually become a flagship program for training high-end energy and power talent in Shanghai, earning a high reputation among energy and power enterprises and universities in Belt and Road countries and regions.
